EXE Sports
Youth Development Mission

EVERY CHILD
DESERVES A
FAIR SHOT

Team sports are one of the most powerful predictors of academic achievement, career success, and lifelong health — yet access is increasingly reserved for those who can afford it. EXE Sports is changing that.

Our Mission

Building the Next Generation of Champions

EXE Sports at Ranger's Speedway was founded on a singular conviction: that a child's zip code or household income should never determine whether they get to experience the transformative power of team sports. Our two-part mission drives every decision we make.

01
Mission One

Narrow the
Participation Gap

Today, youth from households earning over $100K participate in organized sports at more than twice the rate of those from lower-income families. This isn't a talent gap — it's an access gap. EXE Sports is purpose-built to eliminate financial barriers and ensure that every young athlete in our community has a path to the field, the court, and the track.

"The non-pay-to-play model is not a marketing tagline — it is the structural foundation of everything we build. No registration fees. No equipment costs. No child left on the sidelines because of income."
02
Mission Two

Bridge to
Professional Opportunity

Sports are not just about athletics — they are a pipeline to leadership, discipline, and career success. Research shows that 94% of female corporate executives played sports, and 61% credit sports with contributing directly to their career success. EXE Sports creates structured pathways from youth participation to professional development, coaching certifications, sports management careers, and entrepreneurship.

"We are not just building fields. We are building futures — connecting youth from distressed communities to the networks, mentors, and opportunities that change the trajectory of a life."

The Data

The Participation Gap Is a Crisis

Across the United States, youth sports participation has become increasingly stratified by income. Families earning over $100,000 spend four times more on youth sports than the lowest-income families — and the gap is widening every year.

Youth who drop out of sports due to financial constraints do so at six times the rate of their affluent peers. The consequences extend far beyond the playing field: lower academic achievement, higher obesity rates, reduced career earnings, and diminished social mobility.

4× spending gap: High-income families spend four times more on youth sports than lowest-income families (Aspen Institute, 2019)
6× dropout rate: Youth abandon sports due to financial constraints at six times the rate of affluent peers
$57 billion in medical costs would be saved annually if the federal youth sports participation goal were met
8× more active: Adolescents who play sports are 8× more likely to be physically active at age 24

The EXE Advantage

How Green Steel Makes
Free Access Possible

The non-pay-to-play model is not charity — it is a structural innovation made possible by a strategic partnership with Green Steel, the advanced construction system powering the EXE Sports campus.

By dramatically reducing construction and long-term operations costs through the Green Steel system — which integrates advanced structural panels, Cisco-powered IoT infrastructure, Dark Fiber connectivity, and Amazon AWS cloud management — EXE Sports can reinvest those savings directly into programming, scholarships, and free access for youth in distressed communities.

Every dollar saved in construction is a dollar invested in a child's future. This is the economic engine that makes the EXE Sports mission not just aspirational — but financially sustainable at scale.

Reduced Construction Costs
Green Steel's advanced panel system dramatically reduces build time and material costs, lowering the capital required to develop world-class sports facilities.
IoT & Smart Operations
Cisco-powered IoT systems and Dark Fiber infrastructure reduce ongoing operational costs, freeing revenue for community programming and youth access initiatives.
Reinvestment in Youth Programs
Cost savings flow directly into scholarships, free equipment, coaching stipends, and transportation support — removing every financial barrier to participation.
Scalable Community Impact
The Green Steel partnership model is replicable — enabling rapid national expansion of the EXE Sports non-pay-to-play blueprint to underserved communities across the country.
